2:30pm: UNIS TH Theater Ensemble "Picture Justice" - NYU Forum on Educational and Applied Theatre 35 West 4th Street
The UNIS Tutorial House Theatre Ensemble will perform scenes from their original play, "Picture Justice, a Devised Play about Mass Incarceration in the United States" at the NYU Forum on Educational and Applied Theatre on April 23rd at 2:30pm.
The Tutorial House Ensemble will present their work with a follow-up discussion at 35 West 4th Street on the campus of New York University.

9:30 - 10:30am: T1 Drama Performance - Drama Studio 10:30 - 10:50am: "Take Me to the Church" Dance Performance in the Lobby. 11:50am - 12:50pm: "Popular Mechanics" Room 330A The ELL Students have pulled out dialog from Raymond Carver's "Popular Mechanics" to create a script that interprets the argument between the two main characters through English conversation and then translating the heated lines into the students' Mother Tongue languages. 9:00am: JS Storybook Parade 10:00 - 10:30am: La neige est de plus en plus noire au Groenland - room 440 La Neige Est de Plus dn Plus Noire au Goenland examines the family dynamics between a man (Sylvain) and his father (Paul) and his wife (Carole). Both husband and wife are very much absorbed in their professional careers . The demands of their professional lives results in tension between the three protagonists and how they try to hand the situation. For these characters, their home becomes a source of conflicting sentiments and impossible communication with one another. 10:35 - 10:45am: UNIS Faculty and Staff Naomi Choodnovskiy and Saul Dmukauskas show their fancy footwork: Salsa Dancing in the Lobby 11:00 - 11:30am: "La Casa de Bernarda Alba" 3rd Floor Drama Studio. La Casa de Bernarda Alba takes place in Bernarda's house where she lives with her five daughters and their maid La Poncia. The Alba family lives in a small village in the Andalusia region of Spain.
